Position Summary

Candidate must have Registered Technologist (RT), Radiologist Assistant (RA) certification or have extensive radiology experience. Primarily serving as a physician extender/substitute for minor procedures, our ideal candidate will be comfortable performing Fluoroscopy procedures as well as assisting in the performance of direct patient care services, including inpatient consults and inpatient rounding. Other responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling patients for procedures including pre-authorizations, working with other facilities to coordinate procedures as needed, processing orders, sending reports back to referring clinicians
  • Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes
  • Perform history and physical examinations of radiology patients
  • Field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses and other health care professionals regarding patients to identify potential areas of concern in the medical management of the patients
  • Patient education

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must process and maintain Registered Technologist (R.T.(R)) or Radiologist Assistant (RA) certification.
  • Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio
  • Must be a graduate of a program that qualifies the graduate to sit for the certification examination of a national certifying organization recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification desired

COMPENSATION:

The salary for this position is $150,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
