POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking a Director to partner with a regional Senior Vice President of Operations on high-priority strategic and operational initiatives, along with Chief of Staff responsibilities. This individual will provide analytical insights, project management, and structured problem-solving support to drive operational excellence across the region. The Director will help develop operations strategy, translate strategy into execution, manage critical projects from concept through implementation, and provide timely analyses and recommendations that advance the Practice’s performance and transformation goals. This person will also act as a thought partner to multiple groups and support ad hoc requests as they arise.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with the SVP of Operations to plan, coordinate, and execute regional strategic initiatives
  • Act as a thought leader for practice wide, regional, and local operational projects 
  • Support development and tracking of operational goals, KPIs, and improvement plans
  • Conduct financial and operational analyses to identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop clear, data-driven recommendations to improve practice efficiency and outcomes
  • Lead or support project workstreams, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder alignment
  • Build and lead execution of strategic plans to address operations initiatives and performance
  • Prepare management updates, presentations, and materials summarizing key insights and actions
  • Collaborate across functions (Finance, Business Analytics, IT, Revenue Cycle) to execute initiatives
  • Support the regional project intake and prioritization process to optimize use of resources
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing best practices across local markets
  • Coordinate communications and follow-through on SVP initiatives and operational priorities
  • Effectively communicate the findings, value, and impact of financial and strategic analyses to senior management
  • Establish and continually improve management process to deliver against the SVPs priorities
  • Promotes communication and cooperation among teammates to create a spirit of unity in the department.
  • Works closely with leadership and teammates to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to direct reports (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Up to 25% travel, as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Undergraduate degree in related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred 
  • Experience in healthcare services, management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy a plus
  • Ability to synthesize complex analyses into actionable insights and recommendations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have strong financial reporting foundation, strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills, including data mining, multi-source data collection/manipulation, and model building
  • 5–7 years of experience in healthcare operations, strategy, consulting, or finance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present to senior leaders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and results orientation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigating ambiguity
  • Relish opportunity to solve problems and comfortable with ambiguity

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $155,000-$175,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
