Jefferson Radiology is seeking a Workforce Scheduler to join our growing team! 

SUMMARY: Radiology Partners is seeking a Workforce Scheduler who is responsible for creating and distributing the staff schedules, including vacation time, and coordinating coverage for scheduled as well as unscheduled absences for all of the Jefferson Radiology Outpatient Imaging Centers. A successful incumbent possesses high energy, drive and a positive attitude; is committed to customer service and teamwork; has the ability to multi-task; and is focused on achieving results. The Workforce Scheduler has high internal visibility and models excellence in communication and adherence to Jefferson Radiology policies and procedures. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES 
  • Develops and maintains Staff schedules to ensure coverage for all sites, departments, and necessary exams and/or special procedures. 
  • Monitors and maintains vacation calendar, schedule changes, and other scheduling requests. 
  • Communicates schedules including any changes such as, shift-swaps, vacation/time-off requests, trainings/meetings, and court/depositions to all necessary parties including physicians, staff, hospitals, on call services, and websites in a timely manner. 
  • Responsible for all program changes such as, creating user accounts, activity profiles, service plans, personal patterns, shift patterns and rules, contracts, and reassigning assignments. 
  • Develops professional and positive working relationships with all physicians and staff. 
  • Confirms adherence of policies and procedures for scheduling of all staff to ensure consistency and fairness when handling various scheduling situations. 
  • Creates an “on call” schedule on a semiannual basis and tracks trades made between staff. 

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree or equivalent preferred. 
  • 6+ months direct experience in a radiology or other medical practice or call center, required. 
  • Experience in Radiology exam scheduling, medical terminology and basic computer skills required. 
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate a pleasant, professional demeanor. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and tactfully, verbally and in writing, and to motivate others. 
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. 
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, internet, and presentation software 
  • Demonstrates a results orientation for delivering appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion 

The hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00.
