Position SummarY
Radiology Partners is seeking a Privileging Specialist II responsible to ensure that all providers are processed/credentialed prior to start date. Maintain communication with Internal/External customers (MSO’s, Client Service, Practice(s)) ensuring accuracy of the Applications (its Affiliates, Managed Entities etc.) and creating efficiency for the on-boarding and hospital privileging processes.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between RP & client facility medical staff professionals
- Maintain accurate & updated information for all providers
- Obtain initial privileging appointments timely
- Maintain reappointments timely to ensure no lapse in privileges
- Facilitate FPPE/OPPE data
- Aid with reference completion
- Ensure MQSA compliance for providers with mammo privileges
- Assign all provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications to Application Specialist for completion in credentialing database (MRPa)
- Review paper applications (electronic applications when possible) submitted by applicant providers and conduct a thorough assessment for accuracy and completeness prior to submitting
- Complete and/or review with accuracy and thoroughness all new hires and additional locations for credentialing and re-credentialing applications within specified timeframe
- Responsible for notification to appropriate parties once privileges received
- Responsible ensure MSO (Medical Staff Offices), credentialing database is updated and current
- Ensure primary source verifications occur for internal processing as well as external customers (i.e. MSO’s & State Boards)
- Provide timely follow-up to obtain documentation required
- Credentialing (within 90 days) & re-credentialing as required by contracted facility
- Coordinate internally to ensure complete information is received
- Ensure credentialing & re-credentialing is processed in accordance with The Joint Commission and company standards
- Assist and prepare for The Joint Commission audit, if applicable
- Assist with weekly report our meetings to various stakeholders including but not limited to Practice Directors, Practice Managers, and HR personnel
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 or more years of related experience
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Credentialing Software
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through National Association of Medical Staff Services preferred
COMPENSATION
The hourly range for this position is $26-$30. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include possible incentive and productivity programs, health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
