LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
We are seeking to add a motivated Breast Imager to our well-established, multi-specialty practice in Anchorage, Alaska! This opportunity is onsite 26 weeks out of the year (housing and car provided while in Anchorage), offering extremely generous compensation, and full benefits including malpractice insurance, disability and health insurance / HSA, 401K and CME allowance.

Alaska Radiology Associates (ARA) is Alaska’s largest private practice radiology group and is dedicated to providing a full range of high-quality imaging and professional radiology services. Founded in 1969, we provide full-spectrum imaging and interventional services for the largest hospital in the State of Alaska as well as outpatient imaging centers located in Anchorage, Eagle River, and the Mat-Su Valley. Further, we provide subspecialized teleradiology services for clients throughout the state of Alaska such as Nome, Barrow, and Kotzebue. We work closely with leading healthcare providers to diagnose and treat patients in a professional, accessible, and compassionate manner.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Full Spectrum Breast Imaging to include screening Mammography, Diagnostic Mammography, Contrast Enhanced Mammography, and Breast MRIs
- Tomosynthesis units at all sites. Newest Hologic stereo/tomo tables with lateral arm. Affirm biopsy capability. Wireless localizations.
