Position Summary
Radiology Partners is seeking an experienced commercial contracting attorney to join its busy and growing legal department, working with and in support of its highly experienced business team and attorneys. The commercial contracting attorney will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and agreements with third parties, with a strong focus on information technology, data-use, and artificial intelligence-related agreements. The commercial contracting attorney will also provide guidance to business and executives related to those agreements. The position will report to the Vice President, Managing General Counsel – Regulatory.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepare, review, revise and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including IT, data-use, and AI-related agreements.
· Work directly with business counterparts to identify legal risks and issues arising in business transactions.
· Counsel management team on proposed transactions and other legal matters.
· Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of legal documents, including definitive agreements for transactions.
· Prepare schedules and review due diligence materials relating to transactions.
· Manage and coordinate matters with outside counsel.
· Other duties, as assigned.
DESIRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school.
· Admitted to practice law in his/her state of residence.
· 8+ years of commercial contracting experience with a nationally recognized law firm and/or similar internal legal department.
· Significant experience in IT, data-use, and AI-related contracting and negotiations.
· Experience with the healthcare industry strongly preferred.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize work matters.
· Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Strategic thinking skills to provide practical advice with an awareness of legal risks in the business context.
· Intermediate MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel required.

The salary range for this position is $200K-$220K. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
