POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Alliance is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained or widely experienced General Radiologist to support our growing practice in Nashville, Tennessee. Radiologists will perform duties in a hospital or outpatient center. The ideal candidate can mix of studies from CT, MR, Ultrasound, and X-Ray, with dedicated subspecialty help for complex studies in the areas of Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, and Pediatric studies. A desire to work in a collaborative environment with the local surgeons, pathologists and other medical specialties is required.  A candidate who is willing and able to perform or learn non-vascular procedures such as drainages, aspirations, and image guided biopsies is strongly preferred.  Evening shifts in a work-from-home capacity may be required, and flexible scheduling for them available at the needs of the practice.

This opportunity can be a full-time, partnership or non-partnership track position.  Availability up to 10 weekends strongly preferred and required for partnership track. The position includes a generous compensation package and a slate of benefits (401k profit sharing plan with immediate vesting), as well as health, life, disability, malpractice insurance coverage, and substantial PTO.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as a representative of the practice in a hospital or outpatient center to share subject matter expertise.  General diagnostic imaging shifts available and assigned at the needs of the practice.

Required:

  • Able to read and interpret abdominal/pelvic CT & MRI
  • Knowledge Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, Renal/Adrenal, Retroperitoneal, and Gastro-intestinal studie
  • Ability to conduct fluoroscopic procedures, and supervise contrast coverage at outpatient imaging centers
  • Core radiology procedures such as Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Lumbar Puncture, Myelogram, and Image Guided Joint Injections

Optional and strongly preferred:

  • Able or willing to learn how to perform additional non-vascular interventional procedures such as drainages, aspirations, and image guided biopsies

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Fellows and residents welcome to apply
  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Licensed in or have the ability to be licensed in the state of TN and KY
