Position Summary
Radiology Associates of Florida, a Radiology Partners practice, seeks a dedicated and preferably experienced full-time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our esteemed group in Tampa. This role will predominantly support the IR clinic on the Tampa General Hospital campus but will be cross trained to also work in the hospital. To ensure a work-life balance, candidates can expect a dayshift schedule working 8am-5pm with no expectation to work nights, weekends, or participate in call.
On rotations serving the IR Clinic, this position would perform pre-evaluation of patients and charting of patient via EMR, ROS preclinic (remote telehealth) and medication list-comorbidities for anesthesia or planned procedure. After clinic visit, APP would assist in scheduling to optimize physician availability and reduce patient delay. As the APP becomes more experienced, position expectations would include developing clinic protocols for particular disease processes, evaluating interactive patient care software for EMR, assisting in marketing of ambulatory clinic. On days working in the hospital at TGH, the selected candidate will primarily focus on rounding and consultations, collaborating with our current Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and residents.
A collaborative and team-oriented mindset is imperative for success in this role. Tampa General Hospital is an esteemed 1100-bed quaternary facility located in the scenic waterfront area of downtown Tampa. It serves as the primary teaching hospital for medical students and residents from the University of South Florida, further enriching the professional and academic environment. If you are a driven and skilled advance practice provider seeking a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a reputable radiology practice while enjoying a supportive work environment and schedule, we invite you to apply. Join our Radiology Associates of Florida team and embark on a fulfilling career journey in a vibrant healthcare setting.
This opportunity is a full-time position with the full range of benefits to include generous PTO, medical insurance, CME, 401K and other benefits.
