Position SummarY
The candidate will be a member of the RP Information Security team responsible for technical risk management, governance and compliance activities. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for executing security related compliance programs, such as information security risk assessments, merger and acquisition security activities, responding to customer security questionnaires and follow-up, information security program development, IT policies and procedures, HIPAA compliance audits, among other types of engagements. This individual will work directly with the Cybersecurity Manager and with business leaders to understand security risk issues, oversee risk assessment and mitigation efforts, and develop effective remediation programs and actions.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investigate incidents while implementing security policies and procedures
- Monitor security reporting systems for security events, using software tools and intrusion detection systems.
- Monitor security systems for suspicious activity
- Collaborate with managed services teams to resolve security incidents.
- Investigate security incidents and provide detailed incident reports.
- Perform Ticket creation, tracking and/or monitoring for security and vulnerability incidents.
- Stay current on the latest security threats and trends
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in information security, a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in a security analyst role or IT related roles
- Strong knowledge of security concepts and technologies, such as vulnerability management, cloud security, and security incident response
- Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GIAC.
- Familiarity with incident response frameworks and digital forensics. Familiarity with incident response software. ( e.g., Service Now)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls).
- Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
