POSITION SUMMARY
The Radiologist Workflow Coach for Workflow Academy plays a key role in the development and implementation of initiatives to improve radiologist efficiency and experience across RP. The role requires experience with working in clinical radiology applications (i.e., worklist management, PACS and voice rec systems), training physicians, and ability to create and roll out a data-driven physician training program. Experience with developing training materials and project management are strongly desired. The person in this role will interact at a senior level with radiologists as well as operational and clinical leaders across the Practice.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with Practice Excellence team lead to create and implement a comprehensive program (Workflow Academy) consisting of adult learning and training elements, designed to improve the efficiency and experience of radiologists’ work
· Work with the Practice Excellence team lead and individual radiologists to establish efficiency and radiologist experience goals and lead coordination of cross-functional teams to meet the established goals
· Work with the Practice Excellence team lead to supervise baseline (and post-intervention) analyses to assess key efficiency and satisfaction metrics for radiologists participating in the Workflow Academy
· Work directly with radiologists themselves to implement techniques to achieve goals, such as use of templates, macros, hanging protocols, advanced hardware, call center support, and personal habit awareness
· Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for radiologist efficiency and experience
· Maintain in-depth knowledge and proficiency with PACS and voice rec systems by self-education, radiologist observation, and attendance of relevant trainings.
· Work with internal and external SMEs on improvements to hardware, software, resource, and other personal solutions that optimize radiologist workflow
· Work with radiologist support teams (i.e., call center, regional support managers, etc) to optimize value and service to radiologists
· Carry out other duties, tasks, and projects, as needed, to support Practice Excellence and Radiology Partners
The salary range for this position is $65,000-$70,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
