Position Summary
Radiology Partners is seeking a Supervisor, CL&P to oversee day to day operations of a team consisting of all elements of the Credentialing process. Assist in ensuring the coordination of initial and ongoing compliance with regulatory, state, federal and accreditation standards/requirements. Ensures that development and execution of Credentialing and other provider onboarding functions are in accordance with applicable department policies and procedures. Works directly with local practices, providers, and external clients to ensure satisfaction and timeliness. Generates performance measures. Sets goals and monitors performance against goals.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
· Lead and develop performance of direct reports
· Handle multitude of escalated issues
· Provide performance reports to key customers
· Lead/coordinate smaller projects and special assignments by planning and identifying opportunities for process improvement/efficiency
· Perform audit procedures, including reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports, policies and procedures for accuracy and effectiveness
· Oversee multiple departmental functions including but not limited to:
· Monitor licenses in process until granted
· Maintain client facility details within our credentialing software
· Maintain CL&P Directory updated
· Assess app readiness within 3 business days of internal credentialing release
· Utilize credentialing calculator to assess potential file path. Communicate any expected delays to stakeholders (ie, Practice Director, Practice Manager, VP, etc)
· Oversight over privilege resignation process at our client sites
· Oversight over Off-Cycle process
· Check unassigned apps & assign to application specialist in MRPa
· Assist with delegate
· Work with Practice Director/Practice Manager to identify priority files & cascade info to teammate(s) working file(s)
· Help Application & Privileging Specialists manage their worklists
· Notify Client Site(s) of RP team changes.
· Help manage the credentialing delegate and fresh service inboxes. Route incoming messages to appropriate teammate(s) for action/follow up
· Ability to work with multiple departments
· Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
· Work collaboratively with manager to assist with interview process of incoming CL&P candidates.
· Maintain facility contacts & process notes for each facility in credentialing database
· Develop recommendations for corrective action/improvement
· Prepare formal work product summarizing audit outcomes for departmental review on an ongoing and timely basis
· Timekeeping for direct reports
· Provide training & coaching for team as needed
· Track and trend performance of employees
· Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports
· Report on irregularities violation of standards of practice compliance
· Work independently
· Provider oversight relative to credentialing/re-credentialing for internal / external processes for all Radiology Partner Affiliates, Managed Entities and Subsidiaries (to include primary source verification)
· Other duties as assigned
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university and 4-6 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of credentialing
· Microsoft Office Suite
· Credentialing Software Knowledge and experience
· Understanding of State, Federal, Regulatory Accreditation standards and policies and procedures
· Ability to develop and manage audit controls
· Manage both direct and indirect remote employees and ensure internal controls are followed
· Highly analytical with the ability to demonstrate command of the details and to articulate those details at a higher level
· Work well under pressure
· Achievement-oriented with a positive, results-oriented style
· Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Very strong written and oral communication skills

Certificates and Licenses (if applicable)
· Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through National Association of Medical Staff Services preferred
