Position SummarY:
Radiology Partners is seeking a Network Planning Manager to work in a mission-critical role performing strategic and tactical planning, and the optimization of Radiology Partners’ enterprise network. This role ensures that the network infrastructure securely and reliably supports clinical imaging workflows, radiologist connectivity, PACS/EMR integrations, and business operations at hundreds of clinical and operational locations. The manager works closely with network engineers, architects, IT security, clinical staff, and operations to enable seamless delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Align clinical operational workflows with network engineering requirements to support radiology, imaging transmission, and multi-site operations.
- Design and maintain reliable network architecture with cloud connectivity (AWS/Azure) and capacity planning for high-volume clinical environments.
- Lead large-scale network modernization and deployment projects across distributed healthcare locations.
- Recommend resilient connectivity solutions (e.g., redundant circuits) to ensure uptime and clinical continuity.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate network and hardware contracts balancing cost efficiency and clinical reliability.
- Partner with clinical and operations leaders to ensure technology solutions enhance patient care and radiologist workflows.
- Ensure network security and data protection policies are applied in collaboration with Information Security.
- Provide project oversight, resource coordination, and performance management of technical teams.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Healthcare, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of healthcare IT experience, including networking, imaging modalities, and clinical applications.
- Radiology and clinical application experience required.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex network infrastructure projects
- PMP or ITIL certification preferred.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 controls and compliance requirements.
- In-depth understanding of healthcare applications, clinical workflows and modalities.
- Providing IT services in a healthcare/patient environment highly preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 15% domestically.
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $160K-$180K. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
