POSITION SUMMARY:
Radiology Partners is currently seeking an experienced Senior Director of Operations to join our team of practice management professionals. This role is a unique opportunity to help lead a growing practice in a large healthcare market. In addition, it is an outstanding opportunity for the practice management professional who desires a broader business consultative role by servicing hospital-based physician groups and mentoring, training, and leading a management team. As the Senior Director of Operations, you will act as the primary relationship manager and leader for our physician client groups. The Senior Director of Operations provides strategic direction to achieve operational success, and meets quality, physician satisfaction, productivity, and financial goals, as well as service excellence in patient care. You will be responsible for building effective, service driven relationships and providing innovative business and clinical solutions to complex matters in our practice.

The Senior Director of Operations – Genesis Region plays a critical leadership role within Radiology Partners, overseeing multiple practices and markets across the Genesis portfolio. This position partners closely with physician and operational leaders to drive operational excellence, strengthen client relationships, and cultivate a culture of collaboration and service. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced, physician-partnered environment and wants to make a measurable impact on radiologist engagement, client satisfaction, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Drive strategy and daily execution amongst multiple practices within Genesis, ensuring alignment with regional and enterprise goals.
  • Team Development: Lead through cross functional influence to build a culture of accountability, performance, and teamwork.
  • Client Partnership: Serve as the primary operational liaison for hospital and health system partners; lead regular Client Operations Reviews to strengthen relationships and service outcomes.
  • Physician Engagement: Partner with Practice Presidents to enhance communication, workflow, and support for radiologists; champion RP’s ITESA values.
  • Financial Stewardship: Lead the annual budget process, monitor practice performance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce COPS, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Change Leadership: Champion key Genesis initiatives and regionalization; ensure smooth adoption of new technology and processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, HR, IT, RCM, and Recruiting to execute initiatives that improve physician experience and operational outcomes.
  • Monthly travel to the Jacksonville, FL area.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MHA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare or physician-practice operations, including 3+ years in a multi-site leadership role.
  • Proven success managing budgets, leading teams, and delivering operational results in complex environments. Strong communication, financial, and relationship management skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead through influence.

COMPENSATION: 
The salary range for this position is $130,000-$150,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
