Position SummarY

The CORE Supervisor supervises and supports the daily operations, workflows, and personnel of the Radiology Support Center Team. This position will be responsible for supervising and assessing the team’s work to maximize performance and patient care. The supervisor must act on and solve problems in real time as well as strategically, by evaluating existing workflows and recommending changes that improve patient care and productivity. The supervisor is responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.

This supervisor position will be responsible for directly supervising 15 – 20 teammates which will include Registered Technologists and other Healthcare Professionals.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the Radiology Support Team, including performance evaluation, coaching, mentoring, training, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Monitor key metrics (daily, weekly, monthly), develop reports, and implement action plans to improve team performance and workflow.
  • Lead workflow improvements and serve as a subject matter expert on departmental processes and Practice policies.
  • Collaborate with clients, local leadership, and IT to resolve real-time patient care and technical issues.
  • Set and communicate team goals, support departmental initiatives, and act on behalf of the Manager when required.

Desired professional SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related or IT field; ARRT/GXMO certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of radiology experience (as a Rad Tech or Support Teammate) with PACS systems (e.g., Intelerad, McKesson, Philips).
  • Strong understanding of radiology workflows, medical imaging terminology, and real-time patient care environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); intermediate Excel skills required.
  • Availability for weekend and overnight on-call rotations.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $60K-$65K. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
