POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners (RP) has an open position for a Network Transformation Architect reporting to the Director of Networking and Physical Infrastructure. The position will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced network solutions across the RP enterprise. The Network Transformation Architect provides architectural design, strategy and planning, project management, technical expertise, and vendor management for RP’s LAN/WAN, data centers, cloud networks, telecommunications infrastructure.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-optimized network architectures, including LAN/WAN, cloud (AWS, Azure), telecommunications, and security frameworks.
  • Develop network roadmaps, ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead network transformation initiatives, including SDN, NFV, cloud migrations, data center consolidations, and telecommunications upgrades.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with enterprise systems.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring network engineers, and troubleshooting complex network issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, ITIL) and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish performance metrics, maintain documentation, and oversee vendor relationships and service contracts.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in network architecture, including LAN/WAN, cloud networking, and telecommunications.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-native data centers.
  • Strong knowledge of network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Industry certifications preferred: Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), AWS (Solutions Architect/Advanced Networking), ITIL, and SD-WAN-related certs.
  • Experience integrating networking with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies (5G, IoT, AI in networking).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $170,000-$190,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
