POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Partners is seeking a dynamic event planner to elevate the practice’s mission, values, practice principles and practice culture through the oversight of assigned internal and external events. As a member of the Brand Experience (Marketing & Communications) team, the event planner will focus on planning and activating impactful experiences to serve RP’s target audiences, including internal and external radiologists, referring physicians, hospital leadership teams, internal support teams and RP-affiliated practices. The event planner will collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues at every level of the practice to ensure seamless event strategy and execution.


POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers innovative solutions to achieve event goals within budget, managing end-to-end logistics, including relationships with event hosts, hotels, venues, vendors and sponsors.
  • Serves as the event lead and liaison for RP departments, C-level leaders, vendors, sponsors and other external partnerships.
  • Conducts event site research, price analysis and manages detailed timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborates with creative, communications, and digital teams to develop and activate event branding, communications, promotion, websites, registration processes and onsite activities.
  • Prepares, reconciles, tracks, and submits expense reports and manages confidential information.
  • Performs post-event evaluations, including focus groups and surveys, and handles special projects and department-specific assignments as needed.
  • Establishes and maintains files, reports, databases, and other documents, and manages the procurement of supplies and services within assigned parameters.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a national or international corporate setting; healthcare industry experience is highly preferred
  • Experience with Cvent is preferred
  • Thorough understanding of corporate event planning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with leaders, physicians, support teammates and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving/decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, manage deadlines and adjust to business needs
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency and manage multiple tasks and stringent deadlines
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction/supervision
  • Travel up to 25%

The salary range for this position is $62,500 - $70,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
