POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Payor Strategy and Contracting will work closely with the VP of Payor Strategy and Contracting and the Chief Revenue Officer to develop and execute on managed care contracting strategies and negotiations.  In this role you will be responsible for directly contributing to the P&L success of the practice through identifying and evaluating opportunities, negotiating optimal reimbursement rates, and helping manage the payor contracting team.  You will also work closely with the finance and operations teams to assist with evaluation and integration of new partnerships.  Given Radiology Partners’ rapid ongoing growth, there will be significant opportunity and expectation to grow with the practice and contribute to building a first-rate team.  

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Formulate and implement strategies and initiatives for payor contracting, including short and long-term strategies that support maximizing fee-for-service revenue, while transitioning to value-based care
  • Develop and foster strong working relationships with hospital clients and payors
  • Help manage and grow the overall payor contracting team
  • Identify or create tools, financial modeling systems or other resources to assist with payor contract evaluations 
  • Work with finance and operations teams in the due diligence and integration of new practice partnerships
  • Help identify and lead process improvements and development as Radiology Partners continues to scale
  • Support national revenue cycle in improving managed care net revenue yield through reductions in administrative and clinical denials
  • Work with the revenue cycle team in the development and implementation of a system-wide contract management and analytics system 

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • MBA or other advanced degree in Business/Healthcare preferred
  • Finance, consulting or relevant healthcare experience (required)
  • Prior management experience (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, leadership, team building, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong independent judgment and creativity 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

The salary range for this position is $155,000.00 - $165,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
