POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is hiring a Revenue Cycle Customer Service Specialist to provide professional customer service support to patients in a call center environment. This position will report to the Supervisor of Revenue Cycle’s Customer Service and will focus on resolving patient inquiries related to accounts, insurance, payments, and other concerns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating patient issues, documenting resolutions, and coordinating with internal and external parties. Success in this role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answer and respond to inbound patient calls in a call center environment.
• Investigate and perform root cause analysis for inquiries received from patients and patient representatives.
• Accurately document steps taken and next steps needed to resolve patient issues.
• Coordinate with facilities, payors, and collections agencies related to patient accounts.
• Review and resolve patient concerns, including demographic updates, insurance coverage, claim submissions, appeal requests, payments, and collection cancellation notices.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Revenue Cycle (Billing) and Customer Service experience preferred.
• Experience working in a call center environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large amounts of detailed information.
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including letters, memos, and emails.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
