POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Partners is seeking an Associate Manager of Payor Strategy and Contracting who will support the Payor Contracting Department.  This position will help support several radiology practices across a variety of functions, including but not limited to: contract management across government and commercial payors, contract (re)negotiations, contract implementation, resolving payor-related issues, and more. This position will work closely with other members of the Revenue Cycle Management team and perform special projects as assigned.  The title and scope of responsibilities may be scaled according to a candidate’s prior experience and abilities – we want the best people possible and will find the right place for you in our team if you have the right profile!

 

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review, redline, and (re)negotiate contracts with commercial and government payors

• Manage select contracts across all radiology practices 

• Monitor contract performance and implementation; track and resolve potential issues including claims payments, reimbursement trends, and other operational issues

• Build and maintain knowledge and expertise of managed care and commercial payors and contracts

• Perform market, payor, and legislative research as needed

 

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred 

• 2+ years of healthcare experience are necessary (more for manager level role); minimum 1 year payor contracting experience required

• Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential in addition to attention to detail

• Strong Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel experience preferred

The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
