POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking an Associate Vice President to partner with a regional Sr. Vice President of Operations on strategic initiatives and overall Chief of Staff responsibilities. The diverse projects will contribute to and support the transformation of the business of radiology in RP. The successful candidate will provide analyses, project management and strategic insight on a variety of high-priority and often sensitive projects across the Practice. This role will be a key contributor to Practice objectives by providing analytical solutions and proactive recommendations to senior management in their designated region. This person will also act as a thought partner to multiple groups and support ad hoc requests as they arise

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a thought leader for practice wide, regional, and local operational projects 
  • Build and lead execution of strategic plans to address operations initiatives and performance
  • Evaluate drivers of Practice financial and operating performance metrics and identify problems and opportunities
  • Collaborate with senior Operations leaders to devise solutions and/or corrective actions for any operational issues identified
  • Present new ideas that will help to achieve the Practice’s strategic goals
  • Manage a project intake process to prioritize resources, and develop detailed action plans 
  • Conduct complex, data driven analysis on various ad-hoc projects
  • Effectively communicate the findings, value, and impact of financial and strategic analyses to senior management
  • Lead cross-functional efforts with key stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivered
  • Establish and continually improve management process to deliver against the SVPs priorities
  • Evaluate and analyze results relative to expectations; understand, explain, and communicate variances; and adapt solutions to reflect emerging insights
  • Conduct research and ad-hoc analyses with minimal guidance to support operational goals and key strategic initiatives

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Undergraduate degree in related field, MBA highly preferred 
  • At least 7 years of experience relevant healthcare operational and analytical experience 
  • Background in Consulting, Investment Banking, or Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy and Finance highly preferred
  • Experience working within healthcare services companies a plus
  • Must have strong financial reporting foundation, strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills, including data mining, multi-source data collection/manipulation, and model building
  • Ability to streamline and automate processes while maintaining quality, accuracy, and relevance
  • Advanced Excel and Financial Modeling skills 
  • Basic to intermediate VBA knowledge
  • Display high proficiency and expertise working with large data sets in Excel
  • Ability to translate quantitative analysis into practical recommendations
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Enjoy collaborating with other functions (Finance/Accounting/Business Analytics/IT/Revenue Cycle)
  • Highly energetic self-starter, driven to succeed, persistent and adept in using metrics to drive performance
  • Detail-oriented, highly motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of analysis in easy-to-understand business terms
  • Strategic & breakthrough thinking and creative problem solving skills, showing an ability to overcome obstacles
  • Relish opportunity to solve problems and works well with ambiguous

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $175,000.00 - $190,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
