LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Breast Imaging Radiologist. This fully remote role involves interpreting breast imaging studies, providing virtual consultations, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have advanced training in Breast Imaging and Mammography, with experience in telemedicine and virtual care delivery. Leadership opportunities are available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Virtual Interpretation of Imaging Studies
- Analyze and interpret mammograms, breast ultrasounds, MRIs, and other imaging modalities remotely.
- Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports to referring physicians.
- Use telemedicine platforms to discuss imaging findings and recommendations with patients and healthcare providers.
Collaboration with Healthcare Teams
- Work closely with oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
- Participate in virtual multidisciplinary tumor boards and case reviews.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards for virtual imaging services.
- Maintain the highest level of accuracy and quality in remote imaging interpretations.
Continuing Education
- Stay current with advancements in breast imaging technology and virtual care tools.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Completed Breast Fellowship at a reputable institution
- Proven expertise in Breast Imaging & Mammography
- Familiar with breast imaging accreditation (ACR, FDA, MQSA)
- Must have at least one or more of the following licenses: TX, OH, LA, NY, CT, NM
- Preferred candidate resides in IMLC state; or be able to obtain and/or have existing LOQ for IMLC
