The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of diagnostic radiology for both children and adults. A typical day at the children's hospital, usually staffed by one pediatric radiologist consists of reading primarily pediatric diagnostic radiology exams of all modalities and performing the ultrasound and fluoroscopic exams scheduled for the day. The successful candidate would staff the children's hospital 50% of the time and be assigned a seat covering pediatric and adult diagnostic exams, including fluoroscopy, the remaining 50% of their time. These exams would not only come from the local inpatient or outpatient site where the radiologist is covering the practice, it also includes cases from sites throughout the entire Radiology Associates of Florida state-wide practice.

The Studer Family Children's Hospital is Northwest Florida's only hospital solely dedicated to the care of sick and injured babies and children and serves as the primary pediatric regional referral hospital.
