POSITION SUMMARY

  • Under supervision of a radiologist, perform selected radiology procedures, such as, but not limited to, fluoroscopy barium studies, joint injections/aspirations/arthrograms, hysterosalpingograms, fistulagrams
  • Assist in facilitating patients for procedures including pre-authorizations, working with facilities to coordinate procedures as needed, processing orders, sending reports back to referring doctors’
  • Perform history and physical examinations and consents of radiology patients
  • Verbal and written communications with referring physicians, nurses, other health care professionals regarding patients to assist and facilitate the medical management of the patients
  • Other duties as assigned

Radiology Partners Crossroads is seeking a full-time Radiology Assistant to join our team in Indianapolis.  We are a large and busy practice that is growing in the Indianapolis area. We serve 27 locations (12 onsite and 15 remote), and adult and peds Level I Trauma centers.  Indianapolis is the 15th largest city in the nation and is the center of America’s heartland.  Indianapolis supports more than 200 arts organizations, including a world-class symphony, theater, opera, ballet, museums, art galleries and professional sports.  Indiana is a great place to live and work.  This position offers a competitive compensation package, and a full complement of benefits.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE    

  • Graduate of an approved Radiologist Assistant program
  • Certified as radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Passed the RA Certification by AART
  • 2 years of experience as a RA preferred
  • AART License and IN license required
  • ACLS certification required
