Position SummarY

Radiology Partners is searching for a motivated and experienced Radiologist for a part-time Director of Innovation role to lead projects identifying, evaluating, deploying, educating on, and monitoring AI technologies within radiology workflows. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership experience, excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, and a track record of successfully managing AI-driven initiatives. The role includes engaging with external stakeholders and driving the optimization and adoption of innovative AI solutions to enhance clinical efficiency and accuracy.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads and coordinates AI-related projects across a scaled, national practice.
  • Works closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, technology, operations, legal/compliance, and external vendors to ensure the successful deployment and continuous oversight of AI solutions.

  • Identify challenges and provide actionable solutions to optimize AI adoption in radiology workflows.
  • Deliver presentations and technical information to diverse audiences, tailoring content for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with RP teammates on project plans, set targets for milestones, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Document processes, solutions, and feedback for best practice creation and continuous improvement.
  • Consult with radiologists and end-users to ensure smooth AI adoption.

Education and experience requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in Radiology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiology and technology implementation.
  • Experience in managing clinical or technical projects, especially related to AI or healthcare technology.
  • •Experience in evaluating, deploying and monitoring AI technologies, preferably within radiology.
  • •Experience engaging with external audiences, including delivering presentations and leading discussions.




COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
