Position Summary

Medical Imaging Associates is seeking an Interventional Radiologist Physician Assistant to join our inpatient and outpatient IR practice in Idaho Falls, ID. This opportunity is full-time, five days a week, and offers a competitive salary with full benefits package.

• Pre-procedure H&P /consents as well as wide variety of IR procedures, including chest ports, tunneled catheters, PICC lines, paracentesis, and thoracentesis, among others.
• Post-procedure follow-up visits Primary role is to be physician extender/substitute for minor procedures
• Assist in the performance of direct patient care services, including inpatient consults and rounding
• Perform physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose and treat illnesses and/or injuries
• Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies
• Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes
• Field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses and other health care professionals
• Educate patients on their medical care

A local Radiology Partners division, Medical Imaging Associates (MIA) is the leading radiology practice based in Idaho Falls, ID and provides comprehensive imaging services in ID, WY, and MT. Our 30 radiologists provide the full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient radiology, diagnostic and interventional, general and subspecialty, day and night, on-site and remote.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of ID required
• PA Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant program that qualifies the graduate to sit for the certification examination of a national certifying organization recognized by the Idaho Board of Nursing
• BLS AND ACLS certification required

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $110,000-125,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
