POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking a skilled HL7 Developer to support and enhance its data integration environment. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining interfaces that enable seamless data exchange between clinical, operational, and third-party systems. The HL7 Developer will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance across the organization’s technology ecosystem.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute Radiology Partner’s vision, strategy and functional knowledge to manage and support existing integration solutions that support clinical and business operations.
  • Develop and maintain HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data interfaces. Build, test, take live and support interfaces for practices. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Document integration workflows, configurations, and technical specifications.
  • Support other team members in their testing efforts for new interfaces and/or changes.
  • Work alongside the team of Optimization, customer success and other client facing associates to deliver high quality and reliable solutions using industry best practices.
  • Implement continuous improvement principles throughout the delivery and operational support models.
  • Manage personal capacity to work multiple projects and handle multiple development support tickets related to IT Data Integration interface development and support.
  • Ensure all interfaces, and integration environments, align to Radiology Partner’s Architecture and Security standards.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and digital transformation to streamline operations and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and drive innovation to improve IT service delivery and business agility.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, career development, and continuous improvement within the IT team.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare integration or interface development.
  • Experience and knowledge of radiology systems and workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Proficiency in integration engines such as Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, or Corepoint.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and SQL.
  • Familiarity with APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and data transformation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively explain complex technical concepts to a widely varied audience including staff, management and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated expertise in critical thinking and problem solving to weigh the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Strong work ethics, integrity, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable to new technologies.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $85,000-$100,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
