POSITION SUMMARY

Western Colorado Radiologic Associates is seeking a full-time or part-time remote Interventional Radiologist Physician Assistant to join the practices.  This opportunity is part-time.

                     Pre-procedure H&P /consents as well as wide variety of IR procedures, including chest ports, tunneled catheters, PICC lines, paracentesis, and thoracentesis, among others.

                     Post-procedure follow-up visits Primary role is to be physician extender/substitute for minor procedures

                     Assist in the performance of direct patient care services, including inpatient consults and rounding

                     Perform physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose and treat illnesses and/or injuries

                     Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies

                     Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes

                     Field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses and other health care professionals

                     Educate patients on their medical care

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
  • Must be a graduate of an ARC accredited PA program, have active DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification
