POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking a Refund Specialist responsible for reviewing and printing patient and insurance refunds. This role involves analyzing refund checks, processing them, and submitting check registers to accounting. The Refund Specialist will also handle returned checks and manage the quarterly escheatment and vendor credit balance reports. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with payer contracts.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review and print accounts that are in a credit balance for multiple practices.
• Export refund check registers and submit to accounting.
• Review refund postings and process returned checks.
• Scan refund checks into a document system.
• Complete quarterly escheatment and vendor credit balance reports.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement policies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION
The hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
