POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer to be part of DW/BI initiative. This role will be primarily responsible for implementing end to end builds into the Data Warehouse. Collaborate with internal groups to identify and document analytic needs and requirements and works with the data warehouse team to design, develop, test, implement and support DW build outs
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage all technical phases of projects
• Mentor junior level developers
• Collaborate with internal groups define requirements, define test plans, and implement solutions for data warehousing
• Perform data profiling and analysis to support data designs
• Applies Kimball methodology and relevant data warehouse techniques to create new data designs
• Performs problem resolutions and root cause analysis along with recommending and implementing preventive techniques
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Create and maintain DW artifacts
• Sets and communicates coding standards and patterns
• Sets and communicates unit testing standards and supports overall testing
• Plans and design with automation and repeatable processes in mind
• Motivated to share knowledge, adds value, and fosters collaboration in a team environment
• Provide DW and technical support to all consumers at varying levels
• Take on technical leadership responsibilities of database projects
• Write complex queries, design and develop ETL processes utilizing Azure Data Factory and Data Bricks.
• Review ETL processes for accuracy, maintainability, and performance prior to implementation
• Proficiency and experience with stored procedures, job scheduling, and monitoring
• Collaborate with Admins with respect to performance, backup strategies, security, and standard methodologies
• Provide solutions for data migration and conversion
• Solid understanding of principles and mechanics of transforming and moving bulk data
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Ability to perform and lead code reviews and re-enforce standards and consistency
• Ability to manage deployments and perform gate keeping activities
• Participate in on-call developer support rotation
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• B.S. in Computer Science / Software Engineering / MIS or related field preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a data warehousing and/or data development
• 5+ years of ETL experience
• 3+ years experience in Azure Data Factory and Data Bricks.
• 5+ years experience in SQL.
• 3+ years Python and Pyspark.
• 1+ years of data modeling experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Experience is SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a plus
• Experience with a data modeling tool(s)
• Experience with data quality principals and tools is a plus
• Experience with master data management is a plus
