POSITION OVERVIEW

RP Chicago is seeking a full-time Registered Radiology Assistant for our Chicago based practice. As a Registered Radiology Assistant at RP Chicago, located at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital, you will enhance patient care by supporting and extending the capabilities of radiologists. You’ll deliver imaging procedures and provide patient-focused support under the supervision of a radiologist, enhancing workflow efficiency while maintaining the highest clinical standards. 

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform specialized imaging procedures including fluoroscopic studies, video swallow studies, and lumbar puncture (LP) support, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety.
  • Evaluate and screen images for technical quality and completeness.
  • Monitor exam progress to ensure timely completion and verify necessary documentation is submitted.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • Hours: 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. CST
  • No call

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 
  • Experience with hysterosalpingography (HSG) and arthrogram procedures preferred; training may be provided.
  • Ability to support multi-modality imaging (e.g., CT, MR) as departmental needs arise. 
  • Provide preliminary technical assessments and reports to assist radiologists in interpretation.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and professional ethical standards.
  • Certification required: ARRT Certification with RRA certification or CBRPA certification 
  • CPR/BLS and ACLS certification required.
