POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Breast Radiologist in the New York area. This position is clinical with the option of acting as the Section Chief. This position is 100% Breast Imaging. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all Breast procedures, including stereotactic and US-guided biopsies and Breast MRI, and will serve as the Director of Breast Imaging for the department. There is a current team in place and an established infrastructure for efficient, collaborative workflow throughout the practice.
The Breast Imaging position shift is daytime, Monday-Friday. This position can be hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. The Section Chief/Mammographer will also cover our hospital in Warwick, NY, one day per week.

LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY is a non-profit, 286-bed hospital providing emergency, medical, surgical, obstetrical/gynecological, and acute care services to residents of Rockland and southern Orange Counties in New York; and northern Bergen County, New Jersey. Other hospitals this position covers are Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis and St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick.
The Center for Breast Health offers screening and Dx mammo, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, fine needle aspirations, stereotactic biopsy, and core breast biopsy. Radiology Departments offer a full range of services including Nuclear Medicine and Breast Imaging. Minor procedures include biopsies and drainages, PICC line placement and Thoracentesis and Paracentesis.
The village of Suffern, located in the town of Ramapo, has a population of about 11,000. The town is about 30 miles northwest of New York City, on the New York-New Jersey state line. The village is served by NJ Transit on the Main/Bergen County Line and by three tri-state area airports: Teterboro Airport (40-minute drive), Newark International Airport (1-hour drive), and Westchester County Airport (70-minute drive).
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- MQSA certified/eligible is required
- Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
- Licensed in NY or the ability to obtain a NY Medical License
