Position SummarY

Reporting to the Manager of Cloud Engineering, the Enterprise Cloud Architect is responsible for all activities related to the architecture of Radiology Partner’s cloud based software solutions. The Enterprise Cloud Architect works closely with other architects and engineers to ensure all software architecture and design is optimized to function in the cloud with a heavy emphasis on security, performance, and controlling cost. This position will require you to work with internal & external customers to identify solutions that meet the needs of the organization, customers & our patients.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and enhance current technologies to improve security, performance, scalability, availability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Design and document technical solutions, including specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and DevOps to prototype and demonstrate solutions.
  • Implement scalable, containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and security protocols for on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers on architecture and coding standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve technical roadblocks.
  • Present solutions to senior stakeholders and drive continuous process improvement.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with public cloud platforms; deep expertise in cloud security best practices.
  • Proven experience implementing complex enterprise systems in healthcare, including DICOM and HL7 workflows.
  • Strong technical background in Windows, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Go, C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Bash, and Awk.
  • Skilled in database technologies including SQL, Big SQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Solid understanding of networking, especially communication between on-prem and cloud systems.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, GitHub, Terraform, Mirth, ServiceNow PPM, and Smartsheet.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise healthcare IT; 5+ years in project management or leading large technical implementations.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $150,000-$180,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
