PRACTICE OVERVIEW
Southwest Medical Imaging, Ltd. (SMIL) is a well-established, subspecialized group of over 50 radiologists. SMIL owns over a dozen outpatient imaging centers throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area and we continue to grow. We provide services at high quality community hospitals in Scottsdale & Phoenix, Arizona, servicing the HonorHealth system which includes 6 hospitals – 3 being Level 1 trauma centers, and a busy cancer center.

POSITION SUMMARY
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a fellowship trained neuroradiologist to fill a partnership track position within our practice in Scottsdale, AZ. This position will be primarily focused on neurological imaging.
Our unique SMIL Research Institute is an entity through which we perform phase I through IV clinical research in all subspecialty areas. Interested physicians would have the opportunity to gain research literacy as well as participate in sponsored and academic clinical trials.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Majority of work to be in neuroradiology (minimum 80%).
- Ability to perform basic image-guided procedures such as thyroid biopsies and large joint injections.
- No Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, MSK, or Interventional Radiology responsibility.
- Shift assignment, call responsibility, and vacation allotment are all shared equally.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines).
