Position Summary

RP Tucson is seeking an Overnight Remote General Radiologist. We are looking for radiologists to help in providing reads for general and emergent cases. RP Tucson provides diagnostic medical imaging for four hospitals, two freestanding ERs, and 4 Urgent Care Centers.

  • 7 days on/7 days off 10PM-6AM AZ Time
  • 1-Year Partnership Track Alternatively, 7 on/14 off without partnership

LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

RP Tucson and RP Sol partner in the coverage and support of Northwest Healthcare in Tucson, Arizona. We are a midsize radiology practice with subspecialty expertise in neuroradiology, interventional, and diagnostic. The Northwest Healthcare system is comprised of several facilities providing a range of medical services to the local community. The main hospital within the Northwest Healthcare system is Northwest Medical Center.

Northwest Medical Center (NMC) is a full-service 300 bed hospital delivering Tucson and surrounding communities with high quality, accessible healthcare. Outpatient imaging, three ambulatory surgery centers, and five urgent care facilities. The hospital is equipped with modern medical technology and is staffed by healthcare professionals dedicated to providing quality patient care.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME accredited U.S. training program
  • Fellowship training in Body, General or Neuro welcome but not required
  • Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (ABOR)
  • Licensed or the ability to obtain a license in the state of Arizona
