POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Partners is seeking an RCM Analytics Engineer who is driven by learning, curiosity, and problem solving to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Analytics team. This versatile and high-performing teammate will focus on using data to identify and contribute to opportunities for improvement in our revenue cycle. Teammates in this position will work closely with other data engineers to help support the operational leaders within the Revenue Cycle team and corresponding internal and external stakeholders. 

 

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take initiative to better how the team operates

• Serve as the team Data Steward:

              • Monitor data quality to ensure accuracy and completeness

              • Oversee updates to metadata and validate all reporting follows best practices

              • Manage the reporting library, row level security, and provisioning access

• Document the data infrastructure to ensure transparency and accuracy of use

• Build automated self-help tools and data flows that guarantee analysts are using consistent field defined logic in an easily repeatable process

• Communicate with senior leaders and data end-users to understand business needs, collaborate with data engineers to load the necessary data, then develop the data model

• Understand multiple database designs – to validate the ELT process from data stored in our third-party billing system’s SSMS database to our RP Data Lakehouse hosted in Azure Databricks

• Write optimized code for data pre-processing

• Create business intelligence visualizations in Power BI to tell the business narrative and offer recommendations that are actionable and have material impact

• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to leaders using a variety of tools (Databricks SQL, Power BI, Python, Excel, etc.)

 

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• 3+ years of experience transforming complex data into actionable business intelligence visualizations and analyses

• In lieu of relevant experience, the necessary technical skills may be demonstrated through personal work product

• A big plus if expertise exemplified by the following certifications:

• Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate

• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate

• Knowledge of the following data warehousing environments: SSMS and Databricks

• Extensive SQL centric project work

• Experience building data models in a visualization tool (preferably Power BI)

• Understanding of Python scripting language

• Strong understanding of best practices for transforming, testing, deploying, and documenting data. 

• Understanding of (or desire and ability to learn) healthcare revenue cycle data

• Analytically minded storyteller able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

The salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
