POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Partners (RP) Valley is seeking a board certified/board eligible, Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology fellowship trained to fill a full-time onsite partnership-track position within our practice. PRACTICE OVERVIEW:  

RP Valley is a well-established practice in the Phoenix area. With a history dating back to 1961, we are a sub-specialized group of over 30 radiologists. We provide services at high quality Banner Medical Hospitals in the Phoenix area, servicing 3 hospitals - including Designated Stroke Centers and a Level 1 Trauma Center. In addition, we provide coverage at 12 Outpatient Imaging Centers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

                     RP Valley is looking for a fellowship trained Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologists to fill a full-time onsite position. This is a partnership track position and requires an MSK fellowship.

                     Position will be predominantly outpatient. Some hospital shifts to help keep up general skills with potential for call.

                     Comfortable with a musculoskeletal MRI/CT volume of over 80% daily.

                     Musculoskeletal radiologists do not read spine imaging in our practice unless they have an interest in doing so. Must be comfortable with all joint MSK fluoroscopy procedures, to provide backup to our RPAs that primarily perform the procedures for us. Musculoskeletal ultrasound is a plus, but not required.

                     Musculoskeletal radiologists are expected to help read general studies within skillset and comfort.

                     Teaching opportunity of sports and orthopedic residents at the academic center

SCHEDULE:

                     210 Work shifts per year, shifts are typically 8-5 PM. Be comfortable with procedures Shift Assignment and Call Responsibility. Equal share of evening/weekend call, 6 to 8 weekends a year for call.

                     8 to 12 weeks of vacation based on status (associate vs partner) - must meet work shift requirement per year.

                     Remote shifts available once partnership is achieved, based on scheduling and staffing.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:  

                     Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology (Fellows welcome to apply) and Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines). Board certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology - BLS, ACLS - DEA Arizona licensure is a must.
