Radiology Alliance is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained BE/BC Breast Imager to support our growing practice in Nashville, Tennessee. All aspects of breast imaging including screening exams are only interpreted by the breast section in our highly subspecialized model. The ideal candidate can expect a heavy concentration in dedicated breast imaging including ultrasound, stereo and MRI guided breast biopsies. A desire to work in a collaborative environment with the local surgeons, pathologists and oncologists is required. When not scheduled for a dedicated breast imaging shift, radiologists maintain proficiency with non-subspecialty diagnostic imaging on general diagnostic shifts.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as a representative of the practice in the field of Breast Imaging, joining various committees to share subject matter expertise. Primarily responsible for mammography and providing assistance on the general hospital worklist as capacity allows, focusing on US, XR and STAT CT. General diagnostic imaging shifts available at the needs of the practice.
Required:
· Able to read and interpret Tomosynthesis Mammograms (Screening and Diagnostic)
· Breast Procedures: Cyst aspiration, Biopsies (US and Stereotactic guided), Axillary node biopsy, Wire localization
· Women’s Imaging Ultrasound
Optional and strongly preferred:
· Able to read and interpret Breast MRI
· MR guided biopsies
· Lymphoscintigraphy
This opportunity can be a full-time, partnership or non-partnership track position. Availability up to 10 weekends strongly preferred and required for partnership track. The position includes a generous compensation package and a slate of benefits (401k profit sharing plan with immediate vesting), as well as health, life, disability, malpractice insurance coverage, and substantial time off.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
- Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
- Completion of a one-year post-residency fellowship in Breast Imaging is required
- MQSA certified is highly preferred
- Licensed in or have the ability to be licensed in the state of TN and KY
