POITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer. Operating with autonomy and accountability, this role is pivotal in overseeing multiple product releases within a dynamic agile environment. The Lead Quality Engineer ensures meticulous management of all facets of Quality Assurance, including planning, estimation, risk assessment, mitigation strategies, automation, and comprehensive reporting.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the quality assurance processes for cutting-edge products in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strategic vision and a passion for driving excellence in product quality and release management.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans tailored to each assigned program, aligning with overarching organizational objectives.
- Risk-Driven Test Strategies: Craft test strategies and automation frameworks based on rigorous risk analysis, ensuring thorough coverage and efficient resource allocation.
- Automation Leadership: Spearhead automation initiatives at program and solution levels, driving efficiency and scalability across testing processes.
- Team Leadership: Offer precise guidance to the onshore and offshore QA teams, harnessing their strengths to allocate tasks efficiently and enhance overall productivity.
- Quality Assurance Execution: Verify software functionality against functional and user requirements, meticulously adhering to software design specifications.
- System Testing: Collaborate in the testing of systems, modules, and prototypes, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of deliverables.
- Verification Procedures: Execute installations, configurations, and verification procedures, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Innovative Testing Methods: Explore and implement novel approaches to software verification and validation, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Development and Technical teams to troubleshoot issues efficiently, fostering a culture of collaboration and problem-solving.
- Documentation and Review: Review installation and system manuals, providing valuable input to enhance clarity and usability.
- Traceability and Environment Management: Create and maintain Functionality vs. Requirements Traceability Matrixes and Test Environment Matrices, ensuring alignment and consistency.
- Environment Maintenance: Take ownership of maintaining QA testing environments, ensuring they remain conducive to effective testing activities.
- Professional Development: Pursue a program of self-development through continuous learning, including selected reading, seminars, and participation in relevant continuing education opportunities.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/programming or equivalent highly preferred
- 7+ years of experience in software testing, demonstrating leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine), HL7(Health Level 7) and IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) Standards
- Good knowledge of testing methodologies and processes, including manual, automated, standards and compliance testing
- Solid background in API and web service testing, showcasing proficiency in evaluating and ensuring the functionality, performance, and reliability of software interfaces.
- Test and requirement management Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Xray, Requirement Yogi
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Object Oriented Programming Languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Ruby, PHP, JavaScript, Kotlin, and Swift; for testing automation.
- Cloud - AWS infrastructure (w/ managing containers) Example: making environment variable changes/corrections.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and machine learning-based testing is a huge plus
- Demonstrated skills for planning and coordinating verification and validation activities for New Product Development programs at a sub-system level.
- Proficient in designing, implementing, and executing load testing scenarios using industry-standard tools and methodologies to assess software system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Strong influential and communication skills
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with radiology business and workflow
- MS .Net familiarity a plus.
- Service-Now familiarity.
- Healthcare domain knowledge

The salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
