POSITION SUMMARY:

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure timely processing of all new hires and additional locations/boards for credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
  • Notify appropriate parties once credentialing materials are received.
  • Maintain updated information in the Medical Staff Offices (MSO) and credentialing databases.
  • Perform primary source verifications for internal and external processing, including MSOs and state boards.
  • Collect, sort, and scan incoming mail and documents into the system for recordkeeping and distribution.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 or more years of related experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Credentialing Software
  • Meet established production and quality goals/metrics
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through National Association of Medical Staff Services preferred

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $18-$24.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
