Premier Radiology is seeking a Breast Imaging Navigator to join our growing team at our Hermitage location!

Summary: The Breast Imaging Navigator is responsible for managing the scheduling and coordination of breast imaging and biopsy procedures, ensuring timely follow-up care for patients. This role involves effective communication with patients, radiologists, technologists, nurses, and physicians to facilitate smooth workflow and optimal patient experience. The coordinator maintains accurate patient records, processes medical releases, and ensures all relevant documentation is correctly entered into the Radiology Information System. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to support quality breast care services.

Desired Professional Skills And Experience
  • Coordinate and schedule breast care appointments while maintaining timely communication with patients and referring offices; build strong relationships with radiologists, technologists, and staff to support seamless workflows and positive patient experiences.
  • Manage patient documentation including processing medical release forms, obtaining prior imaging, reviewing radiology reports for care accuracy, and uploading all relevant records into RIS.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with clinical guidelines and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Coordinate with referring offices and labs to ensure timely delivery of pathology and surgical reports to the ordering provider.
  • Assist with breast follow-up module.
  • Optimize breast imaging schedule to increase patient volume.

Desired Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Breast imaging experience is preferred
  • 1-2 years of medical experience
