POSITION SUMMARY
Jefferson Radiology is seeking is seeking a full-time BC/BE MSK Radiologist who is well rounded and comfortable with all MSK and Diagnostic interpretations. Hospitals include a specialty orthopedic hospital, "The Bone and Joint Institute’ at Hartford Hospital." Large referral base across a broad spectrum of specialty areas, including sub-specialty adult orthopedic surgeons, pediatric orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, rheumatologists, physiatrists, podiatrists, oncologists, and primary care specialists.
- Opportunities include providing musculoskeletal image guided procedures.
- There are teaching opportunities for the independent Radiology Residency Program at Hartford Hospital.
- Opportunity to participate in general diagnostic, body imaging and ED radiology.
- Research opportunities available in collaboration with our clinical partners if desired.
- High volume practice with 600,000 examinations per year, which includes over 12,000 MSK MRI/CT.

We operate on a hybrid-subspecialty model allowing our MSK radiologists to self-select a personalized level of MSK sub-specialization raging between a pure MSK or a hybrid general-MSK position. LoCAL practice AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
Jefferson Radiology, established in 1963, is a 90+ physician sub-specialty group practice with 400+ non-physician staff members based in Connecticut covering multiple imaging centers, community hospitals and tertiary-academic centers. We have developed a unified, enterprise PACS with home workstations for all physicians that allows our ~1M exams annually to be interpreted in a single reading environment. Our practice supports a freestanding MSK fellowship and a 20-person residency.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Licensed or ability to obtain medical license in the State of Connecticut
- Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
- Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology, Fellowship trained or Equivalent experience in MSK radiology
