POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking a Billing Clerk to provide administrative and billing support, clerical tasks, and data processing in a varied, routine role. This position requires proficiency in typing, computer operation, and office equipment such as copy/fax machines and calculators. The Billing Clerk will interact with management to identify and resolve issues, as well as improve the demographic process. Success in this role is demonstrated by a high level of accuracy, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist revenue cycle management and teams with administrative and clerical support.
- Support general healthcare billing and collections functions.
- Type and distribute correspondence in a professional manner.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets and databases as needed.
- Ensure timely assembly of documentation for billing, appeals, and reporting as required.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma and some college preferred.
- 1+ years of previous office experience, preferably in a medical setting, including data entry and typing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and commercial and government payors.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $19.50-$22 per hour. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including education, work experience, certifications, geographic location, etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
