POSITION DETAILS
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Radiologist to join our team, serving a close-knit, small community in San Marcos, TX. As the onsite radiologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our community members, offering comprehensive expertise across a range of imaging modalities, with the added responsibility of performing light interventional radiology (IR) duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging interpretations, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and body imaging.
- Perform light interventional procedures such as image-guided biopsies, thoracentesis, paracenteses, and ultrasound guided breast biopsies.
- Work onsite at our San Marcos facility, serving the local community with high-quality imaging services.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare providers to support optimal patient care.
- Ensure timely and accurate interpretation of imaging studies, with a focus on patient-centered outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and case reviews as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiology best practices and technologies.
This position is ideal for a well-rounded radiologist comfortable with a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging and light IR procedures. You will work primarily onsite, interpreting studies from our local community hospital and providing timely and accurate diagnoses for patients.
