POSITION summary and local practice overview

Radiology Partners Chicago (RP Chicago) has been committed to delivering the highest quality radiology services to Chicago Southland neighborhoods since 1972. Our diverse practice is constantly seeking innovative approaches to provide the best care to our patients and service to clinicians and client hospitals in each of the communities we serve. RP Chicago is seeking a full-time Breast Imager with Body Imaging experience (immediate availability). This is a full-time position in a community academic environment.  

Ability to read all breast and body imaging including Diagnostic Mammography, Breast MRI, Breast Ultrasound and Prostate MRI required. Comfortable with light breast procedures also required.

This position also requires significant resident interaction (we are part of an integrated diagnostic radiologist residency).


POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule: Day shift hours Monday-Friday 8 am-5pm CST (NO EVENINGS OR NIGHTS!)
  • Hybrid Schedule: 3-4 days Onsite | 1-2 Days Remote
  • 50-70% Breast Imaging (depending on candidate’s interest) – remainder will be General/Body Imaging
  • ONLY 18 Weekend days per year (AND NO WEEKEND WORK AFTER 4:30 PM)
  • Great work/life balance!
  • Resident teaching responsibilities (primarily workstation teaching) as part of our diagnostic radiology residency program


DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Strong interest in resident education – especially workstation teaching
  • Fellowship preferred, but not required
  • MQSA Required
  • Ability to secure an Illinois, Indiana and Iowa license
