POSITION SUMMARY

Northside Radiology Associates has an immediate opening for a full time, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our busy team in Atlanta, GA. The candidate will represent the practice in interactions with hospital staff, referring clinicians, patients and the health care community in general. This a position that rotated between Forsyth and Cherokee hospitals.

·        Hospital and clinic-based practice

·        Pre-procedure H&P examinations under the direction and supervision of a radiologist

·        Entering orders in collaboration with the attending radiologist

·        Completes consults and procedure follow up appointments

·        Assisting with IR procedures to include paracentesis, thoracentesis, etc.

·        Assist with patient education, follow up and discharge notes

·        Monday-Friday position

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must be a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Licensed to practice in the state of GA
  • Good knowledge of standard laboratory tests and interventional radiological procedures
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
