Position SummarY:

Radiology Partners (RP) is seeking a highly motivated IT Field Services Desktop Support Technician II to join our team. This pivotal role provides essential tier 2 and Tier 3 on-site and remote support, ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems for radiologists and other end users in our practice. As a key member of our team, you will play an important part in resolving technology issues, maintaining infrastructure, and ensuring maximum productivity and user satisfaction.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site and remote end-user IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, VPN, and mobile device issues, with documentation in ServiceNow
  • Serve as a technical lead for projects and complex issue resolution, supporting system upgrades, patching, and ensuring local ticket queue health and SLA adherence
  • Manage user access and system downtime processes, including onboarding/offboarding, service interruptions, and communication with stakeholders
  • Perform routine maintenance, hardware replacements, printer support, and manage lifecycle of IT assets including procurement and inventory
  • Provide after-hours and on-call support, contribute to knowledge base documentation, and lead process improvements that enhance IT service delivery

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of IT experience or equivalent education/experience; valid driver’s license required.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware/software issues; strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, remote support tools, and ticketing systems.
  • Experience in healthcare IT, including PACS systems, radiology workflows, and voice recognition tools (e.g., PowerScribe, Fluency).
  • Skilled in enterprise IT environments (200+ users), including SCCM/MECM, Active Directory, Windows 10 deployments, and virtualization technologies.
  • Physically able to lift/move equipment regularly; position requires local travel, extended screen use, and ability to work under pressure.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
