POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Associates of Florida, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a full-time Interventional Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Sarasota and Venice, FL. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide rounding and consultation support alongside current APPs
  • Assist in interventional procedures as a secondary focus, including fluoroscopy
  • Collaborate with a team of 6 APPs and 10 full-time IR Radiologists
  • Rotate across Florida Interventional Specialty Clinic, Sarasota Memorial Hospital (SMH), and SMH Venice Hospital

Position Details:

  • Full-time role with a four-day work week
  • 10-hour shifts, rotating Monday–Saturday
  • Saturday coverage required once every six weekends

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Current NP/PA license and certificate of authority to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida required
  • Board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • BLS AND ACLS certification required

In Sarasota, our physicians staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.
