Position SummarY:

The IT Business Analyst – Contract Operations plays a key role in supporting the IT department’s contract lifecycle and vendor management processes. This role is responsible for analyzing and coordinating contract renewals and related requests, ensuring alignment across IT teams, and contributing to process improvements and reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and an effective communicator, with proven experience in developing and supporting IT vendor, procurement, and contract management tools and workflows.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage and monitor IT contracts end-to-end, including renewals, terminations, requisitions, purchase orders, escalations, and compliance with IT/Legal standards.
  •   Collaborate with IT leaders, product owners, Legal, Security, Procurement, and cross-functional stakeholders to align contract terms, resolve issues, and support contract and vendor management operations.
  • Review and analyze IT contract terms and provisions to ensure alignment with business requirements, compliance standards, and vendor obligations.
  •   Gather requirements, facilitate the build and deployment, and support vendor management and procurement tools.
  •   Coordinate the build of ServiceNow dashboards or reports to improve contract request processing; train and support IT users throughout the contracting process.
  •   Support IT projects throughout the full lifecycle by gathering requirements, collaborating with project teams, developing and executing test cases, monitoring deployment, and ensuring user adoption and governance compliance.
  •  Assess, map, and analyze IT operational workflows and performance data to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for process and technology improvements.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, vendor/contract management, procurement, or project management within healthcare or technology environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT contracts, including reading and analyzing terms and provisions, contract lifecycle management, and procurement. Financial reporting experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively at all levels in IT, Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams.
  • Proficient in Excel and ServiceNow, with experience in creating dashboard, views and improving workflows.
  • Excellent customer service orientation, with advanced critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills in process optimization and data analysis to support business decisions.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
