POSITION SUMMARY
 
Radiology Associates of Florida are seeking a day shift, remote, Body Radiologist to assist with our increasing volume in various regions of Florida. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading all areas of Body Imaging and General Diagnostic Radiology including Oncology/ PET Imaging. The ability to read screening and diagnostic mammograms will be considered a plus!

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday (8-5pm EST) or 7 on/7 off
  • Partnership-track eligibility
  • 50k commencement bonus

RAF is a leading radiology practice in Florida. We serve the most prestigious, established health systems in the state, including on the east and west coasts, the Florida Panhandle, and the Keys. Our scale affords our practice stability and affords our radiologists flexibility in study mix and scheduling. We also recognize that scale alone does not beget excellence. We are quality-oriented, and we practice radiology at the cutting edge, encouraging subspecialty-level interpretations across the practice, and facilitating collaboration and consultation between our radiologists. Our state-of-the-art IT suite includes universal PACS across the practice, AI tools, and integrated doc-to-doc communication widgets. 

Our practice is locally and democratically led, with decisions vested in the hands of the group at large, rather than in a few founders or a small group of shareholders. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In Sarasota, our physicians’ staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in Body Imaging would be preferred, but not required MQSA Preferred, but not required 
  • Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL 

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $500,000-$1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
