Position SummarY
Radiology Partners has a history of high growth which has created its leadership position. To support that growth, Radiology Partners needs to rely upon temporary staffing solutions, such as locums tenens or teleradiology vendors. As the Director of Vendor Management & Operations Strategy, you will manage the strategy for contracting and deploying locums tenens and teleradiology providers across Radiology Partners’ national portfolio. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with multiple locums tenens and teleradiology vendors, ensuring performance expectations are met. You will engage regularly with the operations leadership team, providing data driven updates on performance of both your internal function to allocate capacity, and external vendor performance. As well, you will be accountable for innovating new ways of delivering radiologist capacity to Radiology Partners’ practices.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts and manage performance of locum tenens and teleradiology vendors
- Collaborate with Operations to resolve vendor-related staffing issues
- Design, track, and report on vendor performance metrics
- Build and manage processes for temporary staffing requests and fulfillment
- Allocate radiologist capacity strategically across practices
- Conduct reporting and strategic reviews for stakeholders and executives
- Perform research and ad-hoc analysis to support operational initiatives
- Communicate financial and strategic insights to senior leadership
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare staffing
- Proven experience negotiating vendor contracts, preferably in healthcare staffing
- Skilled in managing projects from conception to delivery
- Strong process orientation with ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for complex quantitative analysis
- Proficient in creating strategic presentations using MS PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $155,000-$175,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
